You will be responsible for taking your own robes and music to Southwark – I can’t carry everything as I’ll be on the Underground with you, and will be bringing spare items for those travelling from elsewhere!
Please make sure that you are wearing BLACK SHOES – no open toes please!
Folders need to be made up with the following music:
- Ayleward Responses (leaflet)
- Psalm 84 (sheet)
- Sumsion in A (green festival book)
- The Lamb (leaflet)
Travel

Please make your own way to Southwark Cathedral to arrive in plenty of time for the 1.30pm rehearsal in the Song Room.
There is no parking anywhere near the Cathedral; the nearest mainline and Underground station is London Bridge, from where it’s only a five minute walk to the cathedral.
Suggestions for those travelling from Canterbury:
Travel by ‘slow’ train from Canterbury West to London Bridge – it’s approximately 1 hour 35 minutes. There are currently some good discounts on advance tickets.
or…
Drive to North Greenwich Station (about 1 hour 10 minutes drive from Canterbury) and then get the Underground (Jubilee Line) to London Bridge.
