From next Sunday, 1st November, our Sunday services will be as follows:
Holy Communion (said) at 8.00am
Sung Eucharist at 10.30am
Choral Evensong at 6pm
All of these services are open to those who wish to attend St Stephen’s in person. However, we do need continue to observe social distancing and ensure that we are ‘covid safe’.
Our 10.30am and 6.00pm services will continue to be live-streamed on our YouTube page, and available afterwards on our website to participate in at any time. We hope that this will enable you to still be part of our worship if you’re at home – or even away on holiday!
St Stephen’s continues to be open for private prayer on a Wednesday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm, and on a Sunday after the morning service until 11am. The church will be supervised at all times.
At all times it is essential to observe social distancing guidance, maintaining at least 2m distance between you and others from another house. You will be asked to use hand gel on the way in and out of church, and to clean the space in which you sit with an anti-viral wipe as you leave (Materials to do this will be provided).
St Stephen’s is a building that is nearly a thousand years old, and wasn’t designed to make social distancing easy, so please be patient and be considerate of others.
