Services at St Stephen’s

St Stephen’s High Altar, Advent 2020

As the number of Covid cases locally has fallen, we are having a socially distanced congregation for the majority of our services, along with a small choir. Face masks must be worn by everyone aged 11 and over, and congregation singing is still not permitted. Thank you for keeping our services as safe as possible.

St Stephen’s has been at the centre of its community for over 900 years, and remains so today. Our mission is to equip God’s people through thoughtful worship, warm fellowship, and enriching teaching. We are a church with a thriving robed choir of an excellent standard. If you are 9 months or 90 years old, or anywhere in between, we look forward to welcoming you!

Some of our regular services are currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, indicated below by a strikethrough.

Sunday 8.00am Holy Communion (said; second and fourth Sunday of the month)
10.30am Sung Eucharist *
4.00pm All4One (First Sunday of the month, except for January and August)
